Kupla Helsinki University of Technology

This post is for the many student readers we have here. This project was a competition for architecture students at the Helsinki University of Technology. I think there is this perception amongst professionals that students don't know anything (I'll be blogging more about this phenomena, so be sure to stay tuned!). I think this is very unfortunate. I'm a believer that every willing mind has something to contribute. I think this project is a great example of that. A group of students got together and created something beautiful, that in turn looks at something beautiful. The materials are utilized to their potential and the design is very cohesive. It has the feeling of something very natural and organic. And only took 3 months to build. Enjoy!
