10. Baojiashan

With a length of 11,200 feet, is the third largest tunnel in China. It is part of the huge motorway G30 with a total length of 4280 km when completed, connecting the cities Lianyungang in northeast China with Khorgaslocated on the border with Kazakhstan. It has a tunnel in each direction and handed over to traffic on 28 May 2009.

9. Gudvanga


This tunnel is located in Norway and Sogn og Fjordane . The tunnel connects the village of Gudvangen to the valley Undredalen and is part of the European highway E16 . Its length is at 11,428 feet, making it the second largest road tunnel in Norway from the time it opened to the public on December 17, 1991.

8. Mont Blanc Tunnel

from the most popular tunnel of Europe. Located in France and Italy totals down from the mountain Mont Blanc (or Monte Bianco in Italian) of the Alps mountain range. 7. Maijishan

To second largest tunnel in China and also the third largest in the world with double tunnels, one in each direction. It lies on the road G30 China joining the cities Lianyungang with Khorgas and west of Shanghai, near Baoji Maijishan Tianshui. It is one of the four tunnels of the network and the length is 12.290 meters with a delivery date and this in 2009.

6. Frejus

The second tunnel between Galloitalikon borders and this is in the Alps Cottian. Part of the A43 road, the French side is the town of Modane and the Italian Bardonecchia . 5. Hsuehshan

Translates as "Snow Mountain" (Snowy Mountains) and is the largest tunnel in Taiwan. It belongs to thehighway no.5 that connects the capital city of Taipei to the Su-ao, Yilan, in the north-east, a distance of 54.3 km Upon completion of the June 16, 2006 after 15 years of work, time need to move from one city to another is half an hour ago, when exceeded the 2 hours. 4. Arlberg

With a length of 13,972 meters is the third largest tunnel of Europe. Situated in Austria along the mountainArlberg and S16 road that connects Tyrol with Vorarlberg . 3. St. Gotthard

This tunnel is located in Switzerland and is part of the mountain pass St. Gotthard to the north entrance of the city is Göschenen the south and Airolo . Its length is 16,942 feet and when given in circulation on September 5, 1980 was the largest single tunnel in the world. 1. Lærdal

The "king" of the tunnel is located in Norway and is by far the longest tunnel in the world. It is part of the connection between the capital city of Oslo and Bergen , on the west coast.
